2020 End of Year Review

Hey Family!

Here we are at the end of the 2020 roller coaster year. Hopefully, next year will be different. There's so much we've learned as a team this year!

We've grown personally and professionally...

We've expanded our team (we’re talking about Hans, Leticia, Jeff, and Sumer) and we're happy to announce that Gary and Cody have officially joined us in December!

And, most importantly, we were able to help 70+ families around the Charlotte, Fayetteville, Asheville, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and the surrounding areas buy, sell, or invest in residential real estate!

This is all WONDERFUL but, if you know our team, you know we don't settle for just reaching our goals.

We're always striving to do more and to help more. So, as we look back on 2020, we have a few life lessons we've learned that we'd like to share with you!

Lesson One: Pay It Forward

Our partnership and support of Halfway There Rescue has helped raise over $5,000 to help rescue, foster, transport, and find homes for unwanted, abandoned, and abused dogs in the Carolinas.

Giving a percentage of every closing feels good! It's amazing to know we can help make a difference in the lives of so many dogs and their new families.

Additionally, we were able to foster and rescue 12 dogs from euthanasia, and find them amazing loving homes. You don't have to give thousands- or even money at all. Giving freely compounds joy! You can give your time, your company, or your talents.

Lesson Two: Make Happiness A Priority

Go on that trip, say yes to something new, celebrate the ones you love because, as we all have witnessed this year, life is short. This year, we were able to make lemonade from the lemons 2020 tried to give us. Here are some of our lemonade wins……

Kaila had the opportunity to present in front of 800+ agents as a representative of EXP Realty at. Additionally, she introduced the President and CEO of EXP Realty, Glenn Sanford & Dave Concord. Lastly, she took a Pre-Corona Trip to Fiji to learn from Tony Robbins and Luke Wren about Health and Wealth Mastery.
During the lock down, Leticia was able to see the glass half full, and saw it as a chance to spend more time with her family! They went to the lake, hiking, and finally had the chance for a long overdue exploration of North Carolina after living here for the past three years.
This year Sumer had a transition in careers. She began her Journey as a Real Estate Agent and competed in her first weightlifting meet, during which, she hit a personal record for her snatch.
Similar to Sumer, Hans took a leap into the real estate world, and has grabbed the bull by the horns and has been a wonderful addition to the team.
During the quarantine Jeff took the opportunity to enjoy family time and went to visit the beautiful city of Charleston. Also, Jeff made it the whole year being COVID-19 free!

Lesson Three: Build A Community of Support

Our partners, vendors, and clients are a HUGE part of what keeps us motivated each day at The Trulane Group.

It was a blessing to interact with amazing and understanding clients who were eager to learn about the home buying and selling process.

Additionally, having a wonderful all-star team that is willing to bend with the changes, and still be able to provide our clients with exceptional service.

It is always best to surround yourself with like-minded people who will work hard to support and help you in all that you do.

So, as we close out 2020, we look forward to 2021 and all the new adventures it will bring for our team, both personally and professionally! We're thankful to work in such a flourishing real estate market that continues to grow each day.
